TOWN OF LAKE MILLS, JEFFERSON COUNTY
NOTICE OF BIDDING
The Town of Lake Mills, Jefferson County, WI will be accepting bids for tree removal and brushing on several of the Town’s roadways. Bids must be itemized by each roadway or tree and must be returned to the Clerk’s mailbox at 1111 South Main Street, Lake Mills, WI 53551, by Thursday, October 27th at 5:00PM. Bids will be opened at 7:00 pm on Oct. 27th before the Town’s Budget Workshop, and will be posted on the town website. Bids will be awarded on November 8, 2011 at the monthly Town Board meeting. Work to be completed by December 31, 2011.
Dead trees must be taken down and all wood and debris to be removed from the right of way. Brushing will include removal of all debris in the right of way and application of herbicide to remaining stumps.
A pre-bid meeting will be held on October 17th, at the Town Hall at 1111 South Main St. Lake Mills, at 7:30AM to answer any questions prior to assembling a bid. For further information please call the Town Chair Hope Oostdik at 920-648-8234. A Certificate of Insurance must be submitted with the bid. Please check with clerk if one may already be on file.
