NO DROP OFF YARD WASTE SITES ARE AVAILABLE IN THE TOWN AT THIS TIME

DUMPING OF YARD WASTE (GRASS CLIPPINGS, BRUSH, TREE LIMBS, LEAVES, ETC.), IN OR ON STREETS, PARKS, PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAYS AND DITCHES IS ILLEGAL.  THE PENALTY IS $50 - $100 FOR THE FIRST OFFENSE AND $100 - $200 FOR THE SECOND OFFENSE PLUS THE COST OF CLEANUP AND REMOVAL OF THE YARD WASTE IF THE TOWN HAS TO HAVE IT REMOVED.

• Dumping of yard waste on another’s property, in parks and in ditches is becoming an issue and this activity must stop. The Town Board will begin to enforce this ordinance and citations will be issued.  This also includes pet waste in public road right of ways and parks.
• Depositing of garbage or recyclables at the curbside or roadside of private property NOT owned by or occupied by that person it illegal and will also result in citations.  This includes the dumping of garbage into dumpsters or bins on private property. (ord. 3-9)
