October 2, 2007

Meeting called to order by Plan Commission Chairperson Eugene Hasel. 
All member were present.  Motino made by Steve Nass to approve  the
agenda, seconded by James Battist.  Carried.  Motion made by Steve
Nass to approve the minutes of  the September monthly meeting,
seconded by Tom Berns.  Carried.  
Motino made by Steve Nass to take the discussion of DRMR request for
rezone off of the table, seconded by Tom Berns.  Carried. The
discussion with Mr. Josh Schultz consisted of reviewing of the letter
that was sent to Mr. Schultz. The commission and Mr. Schultz are in
agreement to the Natural Resource zones, Mr. Schultz also agreed to
have a 2 foot contour wetland delineation map done before the
preliminary plat.  Mr. Schultz stated that there will be 15 condos and
the Plan Chairperson Eugene Hasel asked to have a clear plan of the
sites (3.3 acres).  The Plan Commission required that the park land to
be dedicated needs to be established from the ordinary high water mark
in the wetland delineation and that the dedication needed to protect
the sensitive bay and more parkland needed to be added.  The Plan
Commission required an accessory study for preliminary plat.      The
DNR will be consulted regarding the number of piers and paths.  Piers?
 Land description-on application-20% slope- natural resources?? Needs
clarification. Motion made by Tom Berns to table, seconded by James
Battist.  Carried.
The commission worked on town ordinance 5-4 Subdivisions with the
help of Town Chairperson Jim Heinz.  Workshop set for November 14th?
Motion to adjourn made by Hope Oostdik, seconded by Jams Battist. 
These minutes are unapproved.  Any corrections made thereto will be
noted in the proceedings of the next meeting in which they are
approved.
