August 7, 2007

Meeting called to order by Plan Chairperson Eugene Hasel.  All
members were present except Hope Oostdik.  Motion made by Steve Nass
to  approve agenda, seconded by James Battist. Carried. Motion made by
Tom Berns to approve the minutes of the July meeting, seconded by
James Battist.  Carried.
Tom Berns gave a brief update about town issues.Town Board
Chairperson Jim Heinz reported (ETZ) that there is a complaint about a
Maple Court residence and issues regarding junk etc.  
Period of public comment:  Tom Pezzi complained about  John’s
Disposal oil leaking, and another resident from Vista Condos
complained about the oil also
Review of applications filed:  Josh Schultz/DRMR Development-
presented the Certified Survey Map and explained the acaerage, and
access to the property, storm water calculations, Out lot #1 Natural
Resource zoning (2.003 acres), Outlot #2 remains as A-1 zoning, Safe
Harbor walkway through the shoreland parcels.  The retention ponds
won’t be finalized until the application process is closer to
completion.  The seven lots across the road are substandard lots,
which are not buildable, they will be low land, flood plain area. The
Plan Commission Chairperson Eugene Hasel stated his concern regarding
the shoreline area and future use, such as piers and use.   Shoreline
needs to be addressed in writing what is going to be done with it and
we need to determine the “land in lieu of parks fee”.  2,000 square
feet per unit.  (28,000 sq. feet or Ѕ acre) Josh needs a document
defining where the park land should be, and how many piers would be
allowed and what length. Steve Nass motion to table the concept
proposed for park land delineations, seconded by James Battist.  
Motion made by SN to approve the conditional use permit for the use
of the residence for a temporay sales office for Josh Schultz until
June 4th 2008, seconded by James Battist.  Carried.
No new business. 
Trailer on corner of Hwy B and O possibly being used as a residence. 
Town Clerk to report to county.
Motion made by Steve Nass to approve the cost of the tech. for town
board approval, seconded by James Battist.  Carried.
