Meeting was called to order by Plan Chairperson Eugene Hasel.  All
members were present.  Motion made by Steve Nass to adopt the agenda,
seconded by Tom Berns.  Carried.  Motion made by Steve Nass to approve
the minutes of the April monthly meeting, seconded by Hope Oostdik.
Carried.   Steve Nass reported that Jefferson County has not changed
the farmland consolidation maximum acreage, it will remain at 3 acres,
however other wording regarding “houses predating 1975” will be
reviewed.
James Battist had a question regarding the burning that was done on
DNR land and Korth Park area.  According to Town Board Chairperson Jim
Heinz stated that they followed regulations and called the burns into
Jefferson County’s Sheriff’s office as required by our town ordinance.
 
    Motion made by Hope Oostdik to table the discussion of the farmland
consolidation on CTH O for Jeff Schollmeyer, seconded by Tom Berns. 
Carried.
    Motion made by Tom Berns to approve as printed the proposed Town
Ordinance 5-6 which regulates piers, seconded by Hope Oostdik.  Roll
call vote: Eugene Hasel-aye, Tom Berns-aye, James Battist-aye, Steve
Nass-nay, Hope Oostdik-aye.  Carried by majority vote.  
    Motion made by Steve Nass to approve to recommend the proposed
amended Town Ordinance 5-4 regulating subdivisions to the Town Board
for adoption upon publication, seconded by Tom Berns.  Roll Call Vote:
 Eugene Hasel-aye, Tom Berns-aye, James Battist-aye, Steve Nass-aye,
Hope Oostdik-aye.  Motion carried.
Correspondence: Notice of annexation from City of Lake Mills for a
parcel on Linden Street.
    Motion made by Tom Berns to adjourn, seconded by Steve Nass. 
These minutes are unapproved.  Any corrections made thereto will be
noted in the proceedings of the next meeting in which they are
approved.
