Plan Commission meeting called to order by Plan Commission
Chairperson Eugene Hasel.  All members were present.  Motion made by
Tom Berns to approve the agenda as amended by moving item #B to the
top of the agenda, seconded by Steve Nass.  Carried.  
Motion made by Tom Berns to approve the minutes of the July monthly
meeting, seconded by Supervisor Steve Nass.  Carried.  
    Chairperson Heinz reported that the ETZ Committee will be holding a
meeting in two weeks to review proposed amendments to the City’s
Ordinance “Sanitary Sewer User Regulations, Inspections, Penalties and
Enforcement” to allow the City the exercise authority in the North
Growth Area.  The City will send out notices to the landowners in the
North Growth Area of the meeting.
Period of Public Comment:  Charles Untz had questions regarding land
splits of his existing residence and additional land around it on Hwy
89.   Mr. Degolier asked questions regarding the rebuilding of a barn
which burned recently on Kuhl Road.
    No action taken on the discussion of the proposed amendments to the
pier ordinance.
    Motion made by Steve Nass to approve the text amendment to the
Jefferson County Zoning Ordinance that would change the total number
of acres allowed for a farm consolidation from 3  acres to 5 acres,
seconded by Hope Oostdik.  Roll Call Vote: Eugene Hasel- no, Steve
Nass-no, Tom Berns-no, James Battist-no, Hope Oostdik-no.  Motion
fails. Eugene Hasel explained that a failed motion indicates that the
Plan Commission does not recommend to the Town Board that the text
amendment be adopted by Jefferson County.
    No action taken on the discussion of the North End Parking Lot. 
Chairperson Heinz explained that the grant that was received for the
project is good until June of 2009 and that the Grantee will be
Jefferson County so that they will receive all of the correspondence
and take care of the administrative aspects of the project.
Motion made by Steve Nass to adjourn, seconded by Tom Berns.These
minutes are unapproved.  Any corrections made thereto will be noted in
the proceedings of the next meeting in which they are approved.
