August 14, 2007

Meeting called to order by Chairperson Heinz.   All members were
present.  Motion made by Supervisor Schroeder to adopt the agenda,
seconded by Supervisor Berns.  Carried.  Motion made by Supervisor
Berns to approve the minutes of the July monthly meeting, seconded by
Schroeder.  Carried.  Motion made by Supervisor Berns to approve the
Treasurerнs Report, seconded by Supervisor Schroeder.  Carried. 
Motion made by Schroeder to approve the General Fund Vouching of
$355,047.16, seconded by Supervisor Berns.  Carried.  
    The police report was read by Chief Robert Delaney.  He reported
that he has completed the NIMS training as required and Chairperson
Heinz will be attending training sessions for ICS -300 both pertaining
to Emergency Response in the Town.
    The Joint Rock Lake Committee did not have a quorum for the August
meeting. There also will be a meeting of the Fire Commission to be
held in about a week which Supervisor Schroeder will need to attend.
    No discussion or action taken on the discussion of rezone for DRMR
Development for the Condo project on Hwy B. 
    Motion made by Supervisor Schroeder to approve the request for a
Conditional Use permit for the use of the current residence on Hwy B
for DRMR Development (Josh Schultz) to be used as a sales office for a
12 month period, seconded by Supervisor  Berns.  Roll Call Vote: 
Chairperson Heinz-aye, Supervisor Schroeder-aye, Supervisor Berns-aye.
 Carried.  Chairperson Heinz reported that the Jefferson County Land
Conservation Department will be submitting a recommendation of how
many piers could be allowed on Schultzнs Bay for further discussion at
the next Plan Commission meeting in September.
    Motion made by Supervisor Berns to approve the draft of the contract
for snowplowing with Jason Forest of Forest Landscaping with
clarifications regarding the hourly rate as referred to in section
#1-14 and the rewording of section #6 regarding the wage of personnel
and how it is to be based on the Consumer price index, seconded by
Supervisor Schroeder.  Roll.  Roll Call Vote:  Chairperson Heinz-aye,
Supervisor Schroeder-aye, Supervisor Berns-aye.  Carried.  The Town
Board will be reviewing the final contract for possible approval at
the September meeting.
Motion made Supervisor Schroeder to approve the Memorandum of
Understanding with Jefferson County for the Help America Vote Act,
seconded by Supervisor Berns.  .  Roll Call Vote:  Chairperson
Heinz-aye, Supervisor Schroeder-aye, Supervisor Berns-aye.  Carried. 

Motion made by Chairperson Heinz to approve the purchase of
technology equipment for the estimated amounts of $3,700-$3,800,
seconded by Supervisor Schroeder.  Carried.  Equipment to be purchased
will be a laptop computer, scanner, projector, projection screen, and
camcorder to be used at the board meeting to improve the presentation
of items of discussion.
    Motion made by Supervisor Schroder to approve the use of Ayers &
Associates for a water drainage study for the cost of $1,000.00 for
Park Lane, seconded by Supervisor Berns. .  Roll Call Vote: 
Chairperson Heinz-aye, Supervisor Schroeder-aye, Supervisor Berns-aye.
 Carried.  
Motion made by Supervisor Schroeder to adjourn, seconded by
Supervisor Berns.  Carried.
These minutes are unapproved.  Any corrections made thereto will be
noted in the proceedings of the next meeting in which they are
approved.
