NOTICE TO PROPERTY OWNERS, RESIDENTS & COMMUNITY MEMBERS

765 kV TRANSMISSION LINE – REQUEST FOR IMPACT STATEMENTS

The Town of Lake Mills encourages property owners, residents and community members who may be affected by the proposed BECI/MGS 765 kV transmission line routes through the Town of Lake Mills, Jefferson County, Wisconsin, to submit a written impact statement. (as a pdf attachment if possible)

Please document any concerns or potential impacts involving:

• Property and property values

• Homes, buildings, and land use

• Agricultural operations

• Environmental and natural resources

• Construction and access

• Noise, views, and quality of life

• Long-term impacts on your property or the community

Please BE SPECIFIC and include your name, property address, and any supporting information or photographs you feel are relevant.

Written comments are important to ensuring that property-owner and resident concerns are documented and considered during the review of the proposed project.

Please submit your statement to:

Town of Lake Mills Clerk at clerk@townoflakemills.wi.gov or drop off a hard copy in dropbox at the Town Hall, 1111 South Main Street.

We will be submitting feedback to BECI/MGS on or before their Sept 7, 2026 deadline for feedback and will resubmit the same information to PSC when it is due. SUBMIT YOUR COMMENTS TO MGS DIRECTLY AS WELL using their website: https://mgs-projects.com/BECI

 Statements received after this deadline will still be sent but may not be reviewed by MGS.
